We wrapped up 2022 with a final dance of the year: Women Empowering Women – Our BalletBody Community, in partnership with Perk by Kate.
“Something we’ve been working on the past 2 months. Whilst brainstorming on ideas for our intended year end fashion show, inspiration struck. A dance show would be more fitting, we thought. A show that brings women together, bound together by a common message, to celebrate the glow and strength inside of them, to encourage and affirm when one feels unsure, that shows that beauty is multi-faceted and ultimately, a healing, whatever form that might take on.
This dance show reminds us of the closeness of the community we have fostered over the past 10 years. Comfort, intimacy, generosity, kindness, empathy – these are some of the traits we are known for, and it is a reputation built we cannot afford to squander.
Together with @breathedance.co @balletbodysg @stepstudiosg and all the dancers who willingly took time out of their schedules to turn up for practice week after week, who aspire to inspire other women, thank you for making this happen. Without you all there would be nothing.”
